The Casualties of War

Despite efforts to employ a graduated exit strategy in Iraq, there have been slightly more than 4,300 soldiers killed since our initial invasion in spring 2003. This past month represented the largest number of deaths in almost a year.

We honor those valiant souls who, both here and abroad, attempt to protect the liberty of our great nation.
